In December, our neighbors at Brown University experienced an act of gun violence that shook their campus and the broader Providence community. Many are still grieving and holding one another through an unthinkable loss.
At Rhode Island School of Design, we felt that impact deeply. Our campuses share sidewalks, classrooms, studios, libraries, and the daily rhythms of life in this community. We are not just neighboring institutions, but an interconnected community. When something happens at Brown, it reverberates here, too.
In response, we created a simple gesture of solidarity: RISD ❤️ Brown posters and stickers, available for anyone to download and print. It is a small offering, a visible sign of care, proximity, and shared belonging. Whether placed in a window, on a notebook, or across campus, we hope it reflects what so many of us feel: that we stand together.
You can download the files below and share them widely.
On College Hill and beyond, we remain committed to showing up for one another as neighbors and friends.
From RISD, with ❤️
